The response of the Portland community to the recent fire at the Marysville School has been amazing. Schoolhouse Supplies, Portland Council PTA, Nike, and many many others have donated backpacks, books and supplies to get the school back on its feet in the Rose City Park building.

But eventually, the spotlight will move on. When it does, the Marysville PTA will continue to have a challenge on its hands, supporting their community in all of the ways that PTAs must.

We are a group of active volunteers from other PPS school PTAs (and some private schools and other organizations as well) with experience using fundraising auctions to raise money. We have decided to use this expertise to fortify the Marysville PTA for the job ahead of them; to raise money for their use as they support their teachers, staff and students.

Please buy a ticket and join us on January 7, 2010 at The Ambridge Event Center to bid on fabulous items, and raise money for the Marysville school community.
